The Proprietor, Family Life Hospital: The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Uyo, Nigeria. Bishop John Ebebe Ayah was born on 10th December, 1959 at Buya village in Bishiri-Obinliku Local Government area of Cross River State. He attended Baptist Convention Primary School Limbe, Cameroun, between 1968 to 1975. Supported by Rev. Frs. Kris Owan and Anthony Bassey, after showing much interest in Priesthood, he was enrolled into St. Augustine Junior Seminary Abakaliki where he sat and passed the West African School certificate Examination in 1984. Due to his enthusiasm in Priesthood, his Bishop Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Edrah Ukpo mentored him and supported his enrollment into Pope John Paul II Juniour Seminary at Abakpa Ogoja where he was prepared for this journey. In 1985, he proceeded to Bigard Memorial Seminary Ikot Ekpene where he studied Philosophy for four years. He proceeded to Bigard Memorial Seminary Enugu for his Theological studies and completed with flying colours both in character and learning. He was elevated to the order of a Presbyter in July 24, 1993 by Most Rev. Dr Edra Ukpo. He was posted to Pope John Paul II Seminary, Okpoma in 1993 to 1994. He has served in Sts Paul Parish Wanokom, Holy Spirit Parish Abuochiche. In 1990 he furthered his at Leuven, Belgium where he completed his Doctorate studies and obtained Doctor Decree in Theology. He has served in several capacities in the Mother Church and Parishes before his appointment and ordination as Bishop of Uyo Catholic Diocese on July 5th, 2014bt His Holiness’, Pope Francis. Hospital Advisory Board
Hospital Advisory Board comprising of representatives of different stakeholders. The Hospital Internal Management team comprises of Hospital’s departmental heads. Sr. Sylvia Ndubuaku, Matron in charge currently leads this team. Sr. Sylvia's team presides over the following staff members: two (2) full time Medical officers, three (3) visiting VVF consultants, one (1) gynecological consultant, one (1) Part-Time Pediatrician, ten (10) full time Nurses, One (1) Administrator, One (1) Accountant, Secretary, One (1) laboratory scientist, three (3) paramedics and three (3) non- medical staff.
The Internal Management, Rehabilitation Centre and the Advisory Board of this organisation synergise to achieve two major primary services namely: Surgical Repairs of Vesico Vaginal Fistula/ Recto Vaginal Fistula (V.V.F/ R.V.F) and Rehabilitations and Reintegration of women affected by V.V.F/R.V.F
